Affordable Ivy League

The Ivy League has never awarded athletic scholarships and isn’t about to start now.  However, the conference is suddenly spending hundreds of millions of dollars in need-based aid that has nearly eliminated student loans for middle-income families.

As a result,  Harvard, Yale, Princeton and the rest of those extremely prestigious universities are being more aggressive in terms of recruiting higher quality student-athletes.  Ivy League rosters are filling up with athletes who would have turned down the opportunity to play in that conference a few years ago.

If you have outstanding grades and test scores, don’t rule out the Ivy League as a realistic place to play college sports.
